1)Conditions of sale

The conditions of sale set out below indicate, with extreme clarity and in full compliance with current regulations for the protection of consumers, the conditions and methods by which you can make your online purchases on the site seepompeii.com in an easy, safe fast and convenient way, so we invite you to read and accept them in order to use all our online services.

2) Subject matter of the contract

By these general conditions of sale, SEEPOMPEII sells and the CUSTOMER purchases at a distance the tangible movable goods indicated and offered for sale on the website seepompeii.com,

The contract is concluded exclusively through the Internet, by means of the CUSTOMER accessing seepompeii.com and placing a purchase order in accordance with the procedure provided by the site itself.

3) Prices

Prices are quoted in euros and are inclusive of VAT, as are all other taxes, except shipping costs, which shall remain the responsibility of the customer, except where the same are expressly charged to See Pompeii

The prices shown take into account the VAT applied on the day the order is placed. Should the rate applied be changed, these changes may affect the price of the items and the customer may not object.

See Pompeii reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Items will be billed based on the rates in effect on the site at the time the order is registered.

4) Product Information.

Information and features relating to the Products are available on seepompeii.com . The visual representation of the Products on the site, where available, normally corresponds to the photographic image accompanying the description sheet. It is understood that the image of the Products themselves has the sole purpose of presenting them for sale and may not be perfectly representative of its characteristics and quality. In case of any difference between the image and the written product sheet, the description of the product sheet shall always prevail.

5) Product Availability.

Product availability refers to the actual availability at the time the customer places the order. However, this availability should be considered purely indicative as:

  • products could be sold to other customers before the confirmation of the order, as a result of the simultaneous presence on the site of several users,
  • a computer anomaly could occur such that a product is available for purchase that in reality is not.

In this eventuality, the order will be rectified automatically with the elimination of the unavailable product or products and the customer will be immediately informed by e-mail; with this e-mail the customer will also be informed of the manner and timing of reimbursement of any sums paid.

6) Order

By sending the order, the customer declares:

  • that he/she has read and irrevocably accepted these general conditions of sale. Sending the order therefore counts as acceptance of the general conditions of sale, the Policy regarding the processing of personal data and the terms and conditions for withdrawal.
  • Expressly and irrevocably accept the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale and have deemed them complete and exhaustive

The order will not be definitively submitted and registered by See Pompeii until the credit card order payment has been sent and validated. Thereafter, the order is considered as irrevocable.

7) Payment.

Payment is made by credit card. The delivery note and/or invoice will be placed in the package containing the ordered product.

Online payment methods accepted: Paypal Account, Visa Card, Mastercard, Maestro Card, American Express Card, PayPal Prepaid Card, also you will be able to make quick payments via google pay. The order will be placed when the card payment is validated and sent.

8) Payment Security

In order to ensure the security of payment, See Pompeii uses PayPal secure payment.

9) Shipping costs, conditions and terms of delivery of products.

Except in cases of force majeure, delivery terms will be 3 working days for Italy and abroad.

SEE POMPEII cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery, whatever the cause, except for fraud or gross negligence. It follows that no claim for compensation of any nature whatsoever, may be asserted against See Pompeii, there being always for the customer the possibility to exercise the right of second thoughts.

See Pompeii reserves the right to choose the carrier.

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Rates are as stated on the site at the time the order is placed

10) Right of withdrawal ; exchange/replacement

Pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 21 of February 21, 2014, in compliance with the provisions of Article 52 of the same decree, the Consumer is informed that:

  • may freely and without any reason exercise the right of withdrawal, within – 14 days from the day of receipt of the purchased product, under the following terms:

1) exercise the right of withdrawal and return the purchased goods and/or

2) exchange/replace the purchased items;

After the 14-day period has elapsed, the delivered products will be considered definitively accepted by the customer; as a result, See Pompeii reserves the right to refuse the exchange or accept the customer’s reconsideration and the corresponding refund of the products.

The rights under 1) and 2), in addition to complying with the terms and conditions described above, must be exercised properly.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must comply with the following procedures:

  • The returned products must not show any sign of use, must be sent intact, complete with accessories, in the original packaging and ,accompanied by the return note as well as the shipping note.
  • You must be authorized by SEE POMPEII before making the return.
  • To request return authorization, the customer must send an email to contacts@seepompeii.com within 14 days of receiving the goods , containing the customer’s first and last name and order number.
  • Upon receipt of the request See Pompeii will evaluate the return authorization and send the customer an email containing return instructions.
  • Shipping regarding the return is the responsibility of the customer, who may choose a carrier of their choice.
  • Unauthorized shipments or shipments that do not comply with all conditions will be refused
  • See Pompeii reserves the right to request photographic evidence before authorizing returns for defective merchandise.

The re-credit of the consideration for the returned goods, excluding bank charges for re-crediting the amounts, which will remain the responsibility of the customer, will be made to the credit card used for payment within -14 days of the return of the products.

The User also has the option to replace the product received by replacing it with another item of equal or higher price, in this case as soon as the return is received and processed, a code of the total value of the returned items will be sent to the customer, to be used for subsequent purchases. The credit cannot be combined with other credits and can only be used once within 3 months of the return. The credit must be used in full on an order of equal or greater value.

Once the package is received by See Pompeii a refund of the price of the returned product(s) will automatically be issued if not spoiled.

The refund will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any difference in amount due to exchange rate fluctuation cannot be refunded.

Should the product(s) fail to meet the conditions stipulated for acceptance of the return, the User will not be entitled to any refund.

11) Protection of personal data

Information regarding the processing of personal data is contained in the Privacy Policy part of which the User declares that he/she has read and accepted the conditions.

12) Liability.

See Pompeii assumes, at all stages of contact with the customer: from access to the site, to the order process, to shipping or after-sales services, an obligation of means. Therefore, See Pompeii shall not be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in and arising from the use of the internet network; by way of example only, reference is made to: an interruption of service, an external intrusion, the presence of computer viruses or facts qualifying as force majeure in accordance with case law.

In addition, See Pompeii cannot be held liable for any failure to perform its contractual obligations if this is due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, including but not limited to: a strike, fire, catastrophe, breakdown and in general any event preventing the proper execution of orders.
