Roman Swords

Roman swords, typical of Pompeian and Roman times, were used by gladiators during their shows or fights.

During excavation operations, numerous finds of Roman swords were found in the ancient Roman city.

Among them was the ancient Roman gladius, later renamed, Gladius of Pompeii, precisely because it was found in Pompeii.

The Pompeii gladius, compared to other gladii, was smaller and had a blade that measured approximately 50-55 cm.

In addition to the gladius, a number of short swords, Roman daggers, broadswords, helmets, etc. were also found.

Our Roman swords, include not only the ancient Roman gladius, but also the swordsman and the Roman dagger, all have a protective scabbard, adorned with metal elements.

The blade is not sharpened and they can be used only for ornamental or collecting purposes.
