The fateful day has arrived, after days and news chasing one after another, finally the most appreciated pop star of all time, Madonna, visited the excavations of Pompeii on the occasion of her birthday.
No private party, no Grand Theater rented out to 500 guests. But a totally private guided tour given by the director of the Archaeological Park himself, Gabriel Zuchtriegel, to the famous singer.
Madonna visited the Pompeii excavations on her birthday, Friday, August 16, late in the evening.
The director guided the pop-star through the streets of the ancient city. Stopping at Pompeii’s most beautiful and renowned houses, including the House of Menander and the House of the Ceii. Then on to the star of all time, not only ancient but also present, the Great Theater.

The boys performed at the exit of Menander’s house in the presence of Madonna, who was enthusiastic about the initiative and decided to fund the project. Allowing the final start, among a thousand difficulties, of the show that will be staged in May 2025 right at the Teatro Grande.
