It promises to be another year full of concerts that is coming to Pompeii.

After the great success of 2024, the most famous and visited archaeological site in the world is preparing to host numerous events by the greatest national and international artists in 2025 as well.

As in 2024, also for the upcoming summer 2025, the Amphitheater of Pompeii, an ancient treasure chest of history and culture, will be transformed into a unique and evocative stage. Once again, it will host concerts by national and international artists, giving audiences unforgettable experiences that blend music with the millennial atmosphere of Roman ruins.

Concert 2025 Andrea Bocelli at Pompeii Amphitheater

Concerts that will begin with the melodious and powerful voice of the great tenor of Italian music, Andrea Bocelli, who will warm up the stage at the prestigious Amphitheater of Pompeii on June 27 and 28, 2025.

For the occasion, Bocelli will be accompanied by the Orchestra I Filarmonici di Napoli and the That’s Napoli Choir conducted by Maestro Carlo Morelli. The ‘event organized by DuePunti Eventi in collaboration with Klassics Music Management and Almud Edizioni Musicali will undoubtedly be unique and unmissable.

The summer concerts in Pompeii will continue with another great artist of pop-rock music, Gianna Nannini. Who has chosen the Pompeii Amphitheater itself to open her summer tour “Sei nell’Anima – Festival European Leg 2025” on July 1, 2025.

Dream Theater

On July 2, however, it will be the turn of the historic U.S. metal band Dream Theater, founded in 1985. Who on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the band’s birth will go on a summer tour. Singing their greatest hits with “40th Anniversary Tour” and playing new songs from the album “Parasomnia,” due out in February 2025.

Antonello Venditti

On July 12 at 9 p.m., the Pompeii Amphitheater will host another great Italian music artist. Antonello Venditti will perform live at Pompeii’s most iconic venue with “ Notte prima degli esami 40th anniversary – 2025 edition.”

A concert that promises to be sensational, where Venditti will sing his greatest hits. And he will transport the audience on a super emotional journey through the most beautiful pages of his repertoire that have marked the history of Italian music.

But it doesn’t end there, recently it was announced that Ben Harper will also participate in the summer concerts at the Pompeii excavations. Internationally renowned U.S. rock singer and guitarist who has collaborated with big names. From Jovanotti, to Vanessa da Mata, to The Blind Boys of Alabama and many others.

Nick Cave in concert

In this prestigious venue, Nick Cave has also decided to perform a solo show in Pompeii on July 19, 2025 at 9 pm.

The great Rock music artist will be accompanied by bassist Colin Greenwood, as part of the BOP – Beats of Pompeii festival.

Riccardo Muti

After participating in 2023, Riccardo Muti returns to Pompeii. This time conducting the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra founded in 2004 on his initiative and composed of 130 extraordinary instrumentalists aged between 18 and 30.

The greatest conductor on the Italian stage will perform in Pompeii’s Amphitheater on July 24 at 9 p.m.

Bryan Adams

And in a totally new and unexpected setting, the Pompeii Amphitheater will also host the historic Canadian rocker Bryan Adams on July 25, 2025 during the summer concerts.

A rare opportunity for fans of the rocker to admire him as they have never seen him before. Bryan Adams, in fact, will treat Italian fans to two intimate unplugged performances of all his hits for this show.

On August 5, the Norwegian folk music band will enchant the Pompeii audience with their greatest hits.

Wardruna will perform as part of the BOP – Beats of Pompeii festival at 9 pm.
