Pompeii – Herculaneum – Vesuvius Tour

atrium bicentennial house
Pompei dall'alto e Vesuvio

Do you want to enjoy the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in just one day? And do you also want to visit the volcano?

Well the PompeiiHerculaneumVesuvius tour is for you.

With a completely private tour you will have the opportunity to visit the two archaeological parks and Vesuvius in one day, with one of the best transfer agencies.

I recommend this tour not only because of the service that is offered to tourists, but also because you will have several choices when you book it. So maximum flexibility and customization.

In fact, the agency offers you a choice between:

  • A full tour that includes: transfer by car or minivan, the assistance of an English-speaking driver, tour guide for both Pompeii and Herculaneum, and entrance tickets for Pompeii and Herculaneum. But not tickets to Vesuvius.
  • A semi-complete tour including: transfer by car or minivan, English-speaking driver, tour guide for the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Entrance fees for Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius are not included.
  • A basic tour, which includes: only car or minivan transfer and English-speaking driver assistance, without entrance fees and guide.

The Pompeii – Herculaneum – Vesuvius tour is an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy this experience in absolute tranquility, feeling free to choose whether to visit the two ruins independently or with a guide. You will benefit exclusively from private transportation with a driver.

Also, you will be picked up directly, if the road allows, from your Hotel, b&b, station, airport, cruise terminal, Amalfi, Sorrento, etc. And the point of return will be the same as the point of departure.

Tour Details Pompeii – Herculaneum – Vesuvius

The tour includes a 2-hour visit to Pompeii Archaeological Park, 2 hours to the ruins of Herculaneum, and a visit to Mount Vesuvius.

A maximum of 8 people can participate in the tour and a minimum reservation of 2 people is required.

For this tour I recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, avoid flip-flops and slippery shoes, wear a hat.

For the Vesuvius hike, bring a trekking pole or a simple stick with you.

And if you are with young children, prefer a baby carrier to a stroller. In fact, access with a stroller is allowed in both Pompeii and Herculaneum, but the uneven terrain and paving stones make it complicated to proceed with it.
